“The Huntsman” is a portrait of Martyn Blackmore, Professional Huntsman, with hounds.   The image was captured at the 2021 Princess Anne Hunt Opening Meet – a special event and “High Holy Day” for Fox Hunting.

 This digitally painted image is a rendition of the award-winning portrait judged in the Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA) annual Statewide photographic print competition.  “The Huntsman” being one of the best-in-class portraits, was included by the 5-judge panel into the prestigious Commonwealth Collection.
